With Cain and Able you are able to get anyone’s IP that is connected to your Xbox if you’re bridging connections (done it before). In Call of Duty 4, you can standby if you're host, also once you get their IP's you can use Zone alarm pro to boot people from the game.
With Commview (Replacement for Cain and able) you can send massive packet attacks at the same time as playing to force them off Xbox LIVE. Let’s not forget once they have your IP they can do a port scan and DoS attack you. Also from what I've heard there was a virus a while back that would shut off your Xbox but that was fixed long ago, so I'd say no to turning off the Xbox.
Method to Bridge Connections:
Modem > Router > Computer Then I bought a USB to Ethernet Adapter and that goes Xbox > Crossover Cable (Cat4 might work) > USB Adapter. In Network Connections you should see 2 connections like Local Area Connection 1 and Local Area Connection 2, highlight them both, right click and click on Bridge connections. Once that’s done open up Cain and Able (I suggest you get Commview I prefer that myself) connect to your bridge then start tracing to see who you're connected to. On Commview it’s easier, also on Commview click packets and find the outgoing packet of the Target IP. Increase packet size and speed and resend on infinite rate, you will notice with in seconds he will freeze, you can just kill him then, he also may lag out but that rarely happens. Usually you see them glitching and freezing in places. When you bridge you can give other people host like friends and such, but you can't force yourself to be host unless you standby at the right time, like in Halo 2 and 3.
Once you have the Adapter you plug it into your computer ~USB Port~ then hook your Modem to your Router and your Router to you Ethernet port in the back on your computer. Now you have 1 Ethernet port left because you have the USB adapter which is now an Ethernet port. Plug in your cable from your Xbox to the Adapter then when you turn your Xbox on you'll have Xbox LIVE. This way you’re splitting your Internet like another router except its going straight through your entire computer. Once you turn your Xbox on you should have another Local Area Connection pop up and it should stay there forever (or until you remove the Adapter). Also forgot to mention you can go buy another PCI Card (port) and install it on your computer, that way you don't need the Adapter. Although I find the Adapter easier.
Zone Alarm Pro way:
It has to be Zone Alarm Pro
(Firewall & Anti-Spyware)
from here
http://www.zonealarm.com/store/content/c...GB〈=enNot Internet Security. Once you have it go to the Firewall section and click over to the IPs and click Add IP Address. Put in the victims IP address and put it under Blocked, then turn Security (The top switch) to Med-High if Med doesn't boot them within 30 seconds set it to High.
Congrats you have successfully owned someone on Xbox Live. ^_^
That should cover most of the questions related to this subject. If you have any though please post them in this thread and don’t create your own regarding the matter.
